From the steep slate slopes into the cellar, the journey of the new vintage continues. We guide the juice gently, allowing spontaneous fermentations to take their course without force. The great w**es of Fritz Haag are made in the vineyard; our task now is simply to preserve their purity and elegance. Here, amidst the scent of fresh must and the cool cellar air, the dramatic slate terroir of the Mosel is slowly transformed into liquid poetry.

Harvest 2026 🚀🌱🥂

Our earliest harvest ever currently is in full motion - a great motivated team in the vineyards and the cellar!
Meanwhile, the vines reward us with some beautiful ripe golden grapes.
Alongside that, we’re selecting stunning rare botrytis for some noble sweet w**e. 🍇✂️

As proud members of the VDP, our focus remains firmly on our Grosse Lagen: Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr. We do not seek to alter nature, but to capture its essence. Our philosophy is simple and deeply traditional: natural w**emaking, steep slate, and an unwavering love for Riesling.

On the steep slopes of the Brauneberg, every single grape is picked and selected by hand. It is a meticulous, uncompromising process. We seek only the healthiest, most perfectly ripened fruit to bring into the cellar. This rigorous selection is the key to the unmistakable lightness and profound depth of our Rieslings.

The harvest is imminent. It is the culmination of a year's dedication. In the cellar, everything is prepared; in the vineyards, we wait for the perfect moment. A great w**e is born from countless decisions, and knowing exactly when to begin the harvest is perhaps the most crucial of all. We seek precision, balance, and the pure expression of our terroir.
