My poor "pet" turkey was stung by a bee on her cheek. She actually came too me to show me her pain. I hope a neighbor does not steal her and eat her.

Meine arme „Haustier“-Truthahnhenne wurde von einer Biene in die Wange gestochen. Sie kam tatsächlich zu mir, um mir ihren Schmerz zu zeigen. Ich hoffe, kein Nachbar stiehlt sie und isst sie auf.

Twice now some low life person has stolen a turkey from. One was stolen two weeks ago at our Swampland farm and during the night the stole a turkey from our Eierland Farm. Five years of farming and only once that I could tell some stole 8 ducks from the coop when I brought them home

What is really sad, is that it was one of my neighbors, maybe not direct to my property, but close.

Schon zweimal hat irgendein mieser Typ einen Truthahn gestohlen. Einer wurde vor zwei Wochen auf unserer Farm in Swampland entwendet, und in der Nacht stahlen sie einen weiteren von unserer Farm in Eierland. Ich betreibe die Landwirtschaft nun schon seit fünf Jahren, und soweit ich weiß, hat nur ein einziges Mal jemand acht Enten aus dem Stall gestohlen, als ich sie gerade nach Hause geholt hatte.
So ein Tier kostet nur 15 Euro – kauft euch gefälligst euren eigenen Truthahn, ihr miesen Typen!

Was wirklich traurig ist: Es war einer meiner Nachbarn – vielleicht nicht direkt an mein Grundstück angrenzend, aber in der Nähe.

Since I started my farm on this plot of land. I have seen an elderly man with a walker, other elderly people and parents with children that like to walk down and see mine and my neighbors animals. We are a little walk down the road and I had always thought they need a place to sit.

A few months ago I pulled an old bench out of the dump and had my son Alex restore and paint it. Today I bought stone for the base and timbers for the edge. The paver stones were leftover from our garden pathway. I also bought a chain and lock so the bench doesn't walk off. I spent about €150 and it took four hours to build. But it looks great!

YES, it finally happened. A chicken laid an egg inside the egg carton egg slot. Now if I can just get the other 199 to do the same.

Our mama duck hatched 14 babies, I bought her 30 more to take care of and she is not very interested in the extra work.
