Gorgeous lunch at Lauras Deli at Carlplatz in Dusseldorf!

I had the Godess Glow Bowl and it was delicious!

Cant wait to head back for more for the salads!

I headed along to Turnberry for a spa day and had a gorgeous lunch in the spa cafe!

It has a great selection of salad bowls and sandwiches as well as cakes ... I couldn't resist a scone!

A lovely way to start an afternoon of pampering!

So we headed to The Pipers Rest before a gig at Cabaret Voltaire and we were really impressed!

We ordered
📸 Deep fried Mars Bar with Ice Cream (Sorry but I had too)
📸 Lemon and pepper salmon with veg and mashed potato
📸 Steak pie with veg and chips
📸 AF cider 😋

All were delicious and fresh! We got excellent service from all the staff and there was an excellent singer creating a gorgeous atmosphere (they do live music 7 days a week).

Ok, so everyone knows I love Urban Angel - the food is delicious, the menu is varied, and you can get a good chai latte.

But here is the but ... apparently now, even if you have a booking, your time at the table starts from when the first person is seated, which is absolutely ridiculous!

We had a gorgeous brunch (baked eggs and french toast with bacon) and then after an hour of our booking were told we had to give the table back - confused I asked why and was told "you arrived early" and it turned out the same thing had happened to my friend a few weeks prior! And BTW I only arrived 15 mins early so even with this rule, it was being cut short by 15 mins!

Now it's totally fine if that's the rule, but here is the thing - no one tells you until you're getting kicked out! If I had known, I would have waited for my friend to arrive and then sat down!

And the most annoying part of it all was ... there wasn't even anyone waiting for our table.

Stumbled across this place as we were looking to find some nice food for the train to Stuttgart and we were so surprised how delicious this was!

We ordered the spring salmon bowl and chickaria - both incredible!

This place is 100% becoming my regular in Dusseldorf!

Had a wonderful meal at Dox Restaurant inside the Hyatt hotel at the harbour!

📸 Burratta with figs
📸 Yellowtail Cechive with Avocado
📸 Seabass with spinach and mushrooms
📸 Chicken with potato gratin
📸 Selection of sides (which was amazing)

It was the most beautiful restaurant and there is a gorgeous bar next door ... and they served a german AF fizz!
