Who knew pigs could help prevent wildfires? 🐖🔥 One Sonoma estate is going the whole hog when it comes to fire mitigation.

Among various w**ery wildfire mitigation options, Hanzell Vineyards in Sonoma is targeting the root of the problem with its own dedicated defense force.

💡 By foraging in the oak woodlands around the farm, these Kunekune and American Guinea hogs help keep potential wildfire fuel in check.

Spottswoode W**ery in St. Helena might be best-known for its classic Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, but in the face of climate change it’s time to get experimental.

From Mendocino and further north down to San Diego, harvest is underway – crews picking before sunrise, crush pads running nonstop, and fermentation tanks bubbling.

So far the 2026 vintage is already proving to be one for the record books, with some producers reporting their earliest harvest ever.

Designed under the leadership of with advisement from , Level 4 is the highest tier in our award-winning global study program, Capstone California, offered in over 100 countries and nine languages.

🏆 To celebrate the launch of Level 4, our first cohort of graduates will be honoured at a European summit in spring 2027.

“Hi, I’m Grenache Noir” 🍇 It’s going to be an extraordinary vintage, we heard it on the grapevine.

Tablas Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles hands the mic over to its Grenache vines to give you an update (or diary entry) live from the estate’s Crosshairs block.

Did you know these head-trained, dry-farmed vines grew from cuttings imported straight from Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape?

As you can see here, they have flourished in the warm sunshine and limestone-rich hills of the Adelaida District AVA.
