We are a Family ran business and want to provide you the best tasting Mexicali cuisine possible! We have taken pieces from our Mexican American and German heritage and have fused them together to make Clausitos! Daily we will be serving the best Street Tacos in a variety of different meats and of course we always have our delicious California Burrito! Keep an eye out for our specials, we will have different tacos or burritos that are not normally on our everyday menu!!! =D

Our Story

The love affair with mexican food started over a decade ago while living in San Diego & San Francisco. Learning the different nuances of the mexican kitchen started an obsession with

burritos & tacos. Unable to fuel my addiction after moving back to Hamburg, I quit my day job and started “Clausitos - Mexicali Kitchen”. My family and I want to share all the wonderful flavors we have experienced and more.

Our goal is to create the kind of Taco Shop we’d like to go to if we weren’t busy running one of them. We are committed to making ridiculously good tacos & burritos with fresh local ingredients, from scratch every day - for you to enjoy.
