We‘re Mia & Hai, born and grew up in the South and North of Vietnam. Living in different regions but we share the culture, a same childhood story with Bánh Mì. The story we‘d like to share with you, starting this weekend.

Born from a unique cultural fusion, bánh mì combines the French baguette with Vietnamese flavors: savory pâté, seasoned meats, pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and a hint of chili. Originating during the 19th century, this humble sandwich became a symbol of adaptation and creativity, transforming into today’s vibrant, customizable street food beloved around the world.
In Vietnam, bánh mì is often the breakfast tucked into children’s hands on their way to school — quick, simple, and full of flavor. In the afternoon, it’s the snack that fills hungry stomachs after classes, giving energy for the walk home and the small chores before dinner. More than just a sandwich, bánh mì grows with us: from the taste of childhood to a symbol of heritage, resilience, and joy shared across generations.
