Pascal Chalon did not know he would be a winemaker, but when life handed him grapes he decided to make wine. He is an innovator and a passionate winemaker, he loved so much his first cuvée that he kept most of it and continues to enjoy it out of his private cellar almost 20 years later. Year after year we look very much forward to what he's working on now.

Paul Vérité-Paumel is the winemaker at the head of Château du Mourre du Tendre. He's the keeper of tradition as they continue to make wines exactly as their ancestors, now for 7 generations. Their wines are a window to the past, though they remain very present, even when they're at their best aged many years.

The Goubert name is deeply rooted in the history of Gigondas, now Florence Cartier is at the leadership of this multigenerational domain. Florence is part of a long tradition of Gigondas winemakers, and works hard to preserve it for future generations.

Fréderic Raspail represents the 4th generation of the domain founded by his grand father, Jean-Claude Raspail et Fils. He and his wife Anouck have been developing the domain both deeper in the ancestral techniques that root them in tradition, as well as in new processes and additions such as organic agriculture in order to maintain quality and specialty in their wines.

Vincent and Jerôme Roux are behind the Domaine du Serre des Vignes. A domain built out of their early experiments in their garage. When they took over some family land they began making their own wines and founded the domain. We find the Roux to be storytellers, their domain, at the heart of the Rhônetal represents the diversity this region possesses

Henri Bungener took the over Domaine le Clos de Caveau from his father in 1993, a vineyard certified in agriculture biologique, standing in between Vacqueyras and Gigondas. At Henri's we really got a sense of the value of a strong team which works year after year to create remarkable wines.

Laurent Bréchet welcomed us at Château Vaudieu, one of the many historic sights in Chateauneuf-du-pape. He manages one of the most incredible estates we've ever seen. Their approach is of the upmost attention to every detail, making them into very coveted works of art.

In charge of the Domaine Roger Sabon, Didier Négron balances tradition, elegance and very approachable wines. The Sabon name is linked to Chateauneuf-du-pape for more than 5 centuries and nowadays the domain represents both past, and present of the coveted region.

Damien Vache took over Domaine La Monardière from his parents who started it over 30 years ago. On our most recent visit Damien gave us insights into the very palpable and current impact of climate change in the region. With sharp leadership he's working towards sustainability and exploring new directions for his wines.
