𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗽-𝘀𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 🛫

Together with , and some wineries from the region, we are exploring new approaches to make the cultivation of steep Mosel vineyards more sustainable and less physically demanding. ⛰️

In our vineyards, we are testing the use of drone technology, including the application of plant-based teas and microorganisms, while researching how modern innovations can support viticulture on the steep slate slopes of the Mosel & Saar. 🍇

It is an exciting and still emerging field of research - with the goal of preserving high-quality steep-slope viticulture and making it fit for future generations. 💪

Sometimes, steep-slope viticulture means replanting an entire parcel – like here in the Mehringer Blattenberg. 🌿☀️

We’ve taken on abandoned, non land-consolidated steep sites and are now carefully restoring and cultivating them with Riesling again, step by step. ❤️🍷

Spring. Or already a touch of summer? ☀️

In the Laurentiuslay, the vines have awakened after winter. 🌱 Yet what grows here is more than Riesling on slate: it’s a balanced ecosystem shaped by careful work and natural rhythms.

Complex in practice. Simple in principle: working with nature, not against it. 💚
