Just before harvest, the motivation couldn’t be higher: Today we’re celebrating the release of our first GG® from the 2024 vintage! 🥂🔥🍇

Our LAYET GG® comes from vines up to 100 years old in the Mehringer Blattenberg. Powerful, spicy minerality meets ripe apple, juicy peach and fresh citrus – deep, silky and with great ageing potential.

A fantastic start for our 2024 GGs – and the perfect boost of energy as we head into harvest! 💪🍇

These days, everything in our cellar revolves around preparing for this year’s harvest. 🍇

The tanks are clean, everything is in place. Now we’re just waiting for the right moment to welcome the first grapes of the 2026 vintage. 💪

Every winery has a story. Ours began in 1947, when Nik’s grandfather founded St. Urbans-Hof in Leiwen. 🤍

Even back then, it was the people behind the winery who shaped its character. Nearly 80 years later, that spirit lives on: in our vineyards, our cellar, and our team.

Out in the vineyards, you can really feel how quickly the season is passing. It feels like the last harvest was only yesterday, yet in just one or two months we may already be picking the first Riesling grapes of the 2026 vintage. ☺️

Until then, our Riesling grapes will continue soaking up every ray of sunshine. And thankfully, this year has certainly been generous with it. 💚

We’ve heard there are some Kabinett lovers amongst you?! 😏🍇

For us, the Bockstein Kabinett 2024 is a very special wine. Due to frost two years ago, we were only able to harvest a small proportion of perfect grapes from the Saar vineyard in Ockfen – so the quantity of this wine available is correspondingly small… ☝️

That makes us all the more delighted to present a delicate, wonderfully easy-drinking Saar Kabinett with an alcohol content of just 7.5%. ✨🍾

Now available in limited quantities in our online shop. 💚
