Congratulations to wildbunchbrewing on the grand opening of their new taproom in downtown Luling—the city’s first brewery!

Known as the “Crossroads to Everywhere,” Luling sits between Austin and San Antonio with a rich history built around agriculture, oil, the railroad, and a downtown that continues to grow and evolve. Now, local craft b**r is officially part of the story.

Luling was one of the very first communities to join our Brew City, Texas program as an Emerging Brewscape, making it especially exciting to see things come full circle with the opening of Wild Bunch Brewing Co. Luling.

Today, Brew City, Texas includes nearly 40 communities—from small towns to some of the state’s largest cities—all working to harness the power of independent craft b**r to support tourism, economic development, and vibrant local communities.

We’re thrilled to raise a glass to Wild Bunch Brewing, Luling EDC, and this exciting new chapter for downtown Luling. Congratulations!

Please join us in raising a glass to our Deputy Director, Meg Ellis, as she heads off to an exciting new opportunity with the State of Texas!

Meg has been an integral part of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild for nearly seven years, starting as our Membership Coordinator and growing into the Deputy Director role. Through it all, she’s brought a warm, welcoming touch to our members and an unflappable calm to just about every situation—whether she was steering key committees, managing the cellar at the Texas Craft Brewers Cup, running the merch booth at Texas Craft Brewers Festival, or tackling the countless things behind the scenes that have kept the Guild moving forward. She’s been a trusted teammate, a friendly face to so many in our community, and someone we could always count on when things got hectic.

We’re going to miss having Meg on the Guild team, but we’re so grateful for nearly seven years of hard work, friendship, and plenty of good times along the way. We can’t wait to cheer her on in this next adventure. Cheers to you, Meg!
