Dear friends of the good stuff,
2025 was a year full of contradictions: more glyphosate was used, less biodiversity than ever registered on the crop fields, at the same time more marketing about sustainability everywhere—overall less real responsibility and change for what is important.
We live in a time when convenience seems to matter more than consequence. Cheap production and fast consumption will leave traces that last for generations to come.
Most of us know there’s another way, but we have to take action.
Every choice for organic food is not just a statement—it’s an act of resistance. It’s a “NO” to glyphosate, artificial fertilizers, pesticides and food industry indifference. And at the same time, it’s a “YES” to fertile soil, biodiversity, and farmers who choose to work with nature, not against it.
Few realize that oil, chemical fertilizers, and glyphosate are deeply connected. The same petroleum industry that fuels conflicts feeds the production of synthetic nitrogen and pesticides—many of them still linked, directly or indirectly, to Russian exports. Each purchase of organic food is therefore more than a food choice; it’s a refusal to support an economic system rooted in fossil dependency and destruction.
Real food begins with respect:
Respect for the plant, the soil, the people who nurture it—and those who later enjoy it. Our tortillas tell their story: made from heirloom organic corn, without chemical shortcuts, crafted through ancestral methods and guided by our beliefs.
What we do today nourishes not only ourselves,
but those who come after us. Let us act consciously, choose courageously—and become good future ancestors.
To a flourishing future. Happy new Year and gracias!
