Move over superheroes, Vanilla Villain has returned! This big, bad Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout was generously treated with three species of vanilla beans from 14 global origins including: Vanilla Planifolia from Congo, India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, and Vanuatu; Vanilla Tahitensis from Ecuador, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea; and Vanilla Pompona from Madagascar.

Barreled Souls Brewing Company - Barrel Aged Put A Bird On It 2026 (15,4% ABV)

Aged for 18 months and 19 days in Willett Family Estate Rye barrels, this stout is just a spot-on classic. The delicious roasty, malty stout character picks up some nice oak notes and a hint of that rye spice.

Sometime last year I was supposed to receive 48 bottles of „The Bruery - One&Dunn Imperial Grand Reserve,“ but unfortunately, I didn’t get a single one. Then, two months ago, I was offered the chance to order kegs of this extraordinary beer. I didn’t hesitate for a second and ordered two kegs so I could bring some joy to those of you who were disappointed.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Dirk, because without his help and expertise such a high-quality bottling would not have been possible. Thank you so much Dirk!

The bottles are purged with nitrogen, and the beer is filled under pressure. Naturally, the entire process takes place under hygienic conditions. These growlers can be stored for several monthsand for sure more. Just a few days ago, a customer wrote to me saying he had opened a bottle of Double Barrel Wisdom 2025 after nearly seven months and was thrilled to find it still in excellent condition. Overall, I have received many positive messages about DB Wisdom 2025, and not a single negative one.

Guys, Make me a Stout, Clown 2019 was my first beer from Barreled Souls and it was unbelievable good. One of the best coconut flavors that I had in a beer and the Booker’s Bourbon Barrel was phenomenal.
So glad to received the new 2026 version. Really looking forward to try it!

This big imperial stout is aged in a combination of 80 percent Buffalo Trace barrels and 20 percent Russell’s Reserve bourbon barrels for 15 months and 21 days before being finished on loads of Oreos and coconut 🥥 .

Barreled Souls Brewing Company - Double Barrel Aged Modest Souls 15,8% ABV

In total, the beer spent 24 months and 25 days in barrel. We aged the stout in equal amounts of Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrels and Willett Family Estate Rye barrels for a year before blending them together and releasing about half of it last year. The other half went into Buffalo Trace barrels for another year.

Double Oaked Imperial Stout with banana and toasted coconut

Aged 38 months in a blend of Elijah Craig 8 Year Bourbon, Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey, and Willett Rye Whiskey barrels. Finished on Thai bananas and toasted coconut.

Brasserie du Bas-Canada - Monument #5

Monument #5 is intended to be a series of different blends of Imperial Stout aged in different types of barrels with the idea of combining both intensity and finesse. For this fifth iteration, we have assembled an Imperial Stout matured for 34 months in Willett bourbon barrels and an Imperial Stout which has aged for 26 months in Stagg Jr bourbon barrels. We present to you this rich and complex stout without artifice. The texture is rich but with a moderate sugar level making it a well-balanced stout. You will find beautiful notes of bourbon, delicately chocolate aromas with nuances of leather and to***co. The long aging in bourbon barrels gives it intense spirit notes and a pleasant warmth with a silky finish.
