Especially not when it’s fully matured in first fill Oloroso sherry! 👀

Some may scoff at the age statement, but when premium spirit meets premium wood, something truly magical happens…

Bottled at a punchy 55% ABV with a stunning natural colour - this 5 year old Ardnamurchan is Highland magic in liquid form 🪄✨

Nose: Roasted coffee beans 🫘 tart cherry juice 🧃 earthy, leather pub jacket 🧥

Taste: Spiced fruitcake 🍰 molasses, dark chocolate 🍫 medjool dates 🍇 blood orange 🍊

Finish: Long, warming, assertive. Smoky, spiced embers

We loved the old retro Porsche ads so we thought we’d make some of our own for Glaschu Spirits Co.

This one shows our newest GlenAllachie 10 year old fully matured in a PX cask and bottled at 56% ABV.

Since pre orders on Saturday we have already sold about 75% of this bottling so we doubt this one will hang around for long!

Born in Glasgow, crafted by two whisky enthusiasts with a taste for the unconventional.

United by curiosity, we sought to create a bold Highland malt with a twist.

Carefully aged 7 years and finished in a Devonshire tonic wine quarter cask.

Kissed by rich fruit and herbal notes, it offers a finish unlike any other.

Filled at a robust 49%, un-chillfiltered and full of character.

A dram that bridges tradition with experimentation.

🫨 Another Bottling Announcement!? 🫨 You betcha! Number 3 in the 2025 lineup comes from one of the most remote distilleries in Scotland…

Another one we’ve wanted to bottle since the start of DamGoodDrams… An indie distillery, founded by indie bottlers - Ardnamurchan! 🙌

This one’s extra special, it’s peated Ardnamurchan, matured 5 years in first fill Oloroso sherry 👀

It may be the youngest release we’ve ever made, but by god is it one of the most interesting. Reminiscent of our Peated/PX Glenglassaugh bottling from 2024 🔥

We’ve got something really cool on the artwork this time - A jet-powered racing boat, known as John Cobb’s Crusader 🚀

Nose: Roasted coffee beans 🫘 tart cherry juice 🧃 earthy, leather pub jacket 🧥

When we first tried this cask, we knew it would be the perfect pairing for a succulent, sweet finish, like that of Madeira wine 🤌

This 10 year old Strathdearn (distilled at Tomatin) came to us in a refill bourbon barrel, where it spent the first 9 years maturing, before we then filled it into a first-fill Madeira wine cask, for it’s final year of finishing ⏳

What was once a light, vanilla-rich whisky has transformed into a vibrant amber nectar of apricot, caramel and custard. A beautiful winter warmer! 😋

Here’s what we thought…

Nose 👃
Amaretto, cinnamon and dried apricots

Palate 👅
Apricot and orchard fruits, caramel popcorn, pastel de nata, and oaky spice

Finish 🏁
Rich, sticky and sweet

The Cloud of Iona, a De Havilland Dragon sea plane that once ran a passenger service between Glasgow and Belfast in the 1930’s…

We paid off the pilot to make a slight detour and pick up three first fill Madeira wine octaves from the tropical Portuguese island 🤝😉

These produced an excellent finish for our bottling of Aultmore!

Long gone now I’m afraid. You’ll struggle to find any of these left on the shelves…

Have you tried our blue Macduff 16? 👀

After maturing for 15 years in a single refill bourbon barrel, we split our Macduff into two different sherry quarter casks and finished for 12 months each.

This blue-labelled bottling is the Oloroso expression, showcasing the London-Glasgow Coronation Scot, the East Coast contender of the Great Race to the North 🏁

Here’s what we thought…

Nose.
Apple crumble 🥧 cinnamon 🥮 custard 🍨orange peel 🍊

Palate.
Soft peaches 🍑 demerara sugar 🍯 chocolate fudge 🍫

Finish.
Lengthy, complex, rich and moreish 😋

The Racing, Hillman Imp rally car, stopping off at Teaninich distillery 🙌

Back in the 1960-70’s, the Hillman Imp, designed and built in Linwood (southwest of Glasgow) became one of the most distinctive cars of its era, renowned for its innovative design and spirited performance 💪

The Hillman Imp gained a loyal following in motorsport, particularly in rallying and hill climbs, thanks to its light weight and rear-engine layout. Tuned versions of the Imp often punched well above their weight, earning respect in the racing world 🏁

We’ve honoured the legendary Imp on our Teaninich 13 label 🙌

A fragrant, grassy highlander, finished for 2 years in a punchy first fill Saint Emilion red wine barrique 🇫🇷

Here’s our thoughts on the dram…

Nose.
Mulled wine 🍷 harvest hay 🌾 light hint of liquorice 🍬

Palate.
Raspberry jam on toast 🥪 dried red fruits 🍓 seashell chocolates 🐚

Finish.
Sweet and spicy finish 🔥 malty cereal 🥣

The year is 1785… Italian aviator, Vincento Lunardi, is preparing his Grand Air Balloon for the first manned flight from Scotland to England 🗺️

After his successful flight, his Grand Air Balloon is showcased as a public attraction in St Mungo’s Cathedral, Glasgow 🙌

A 240 year old tale of aviation pioneering, tying Scotland to Italy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤝🇮🇹

We loved the story, so we featured it on one of our bottlings! Tomintoul 7 - a silky Scottish Speysider, paired with a sweet Italian Marsala wine cask finish 🤌

Nose:
Zesty orange peel 🍊 freshly baked ginger 🫚 bread, madagascar vanilla 🍨

Palate:
Amaretto 🍡 juicy peaches 🍑honey 🍯 and ginger 🫚

Who remembers this wee beauty? 👀

11 year old ‘Highland Single Malt’ distilled in the valley the geese, at the foot of Dumgoyne!

It’s actually the lowest Highland Single Malt you can get…

The distillery sits right on the boundary line, so close that the warehouses across the road are technically in the lowland region!

We picked up this refill Hogshead at 10 years old and split it into two first fill PX Sherry quarter casks for an 8 month finish.

It was our third bottling and arguably one of our most successful releases.

Who knows the story behind this little yellow submarine?

Known as the ‘Viperfish’… it’s a fiberglass submarine self-built by US Navy submariner, Dan Taylor, in the 1960’s.

Taylor scoured the depths of Loch Ness in his Viperfish, on the hunt for the elusive monster…

Did he find it? Who knows… we’ve featured Dan’s Viperfish on our recent Strathdearn 10 bottling. Distilled at Tomatin distillery and finished for a year in a first fill Madeira wine barrique 😋
