Today we’re taking you along to our annual bottling process.
Here you can see how our bottles are being placed into what’s called a “rinser.”
The rinser is used to sterilize the bottles afterward.
For example, if the bottles are stored outdoors, they might have dirt inside, so they’re rinsed out.
The bottles then go into a filler and are filled through a filling valve; as soon as the fill level is reached, the bottles are transported via a conveyor belt to the capper.
Our bottles are sealed with a so-called BVS cap, which, I’d say, is simply the most common way to seal bottles these days.
The caps are fed to the bottle through a cap magazine.
The capping head, which you just saw moving up and down, screws the cap onto the bottle’s thread. Afterward, the bottles are packed into a mesh crate so they can be labeled later.
