This write up is for Ruth Kadiri and some commenters on this her drama or movie she has been working on.
I usually don’t tag people I love and review their movies but somehow they get to see it and still commend it and she has in different occasions done so.
I see some person from the C section are saying u put an end to this drama, coming up with obnoxious reasons like, it will start getting boring or possibly trying to tell u what and how your drama should be or play out. I know with people like these set of people, one can never get it right but the truth is , DNGAF about them.
You don’t tell someone how to produce a story or her drama. The title alone should have told you that, this is not a small project. I wouldn’t want to talk about the empowerment this project would do to many cast involved and also the opportunity it would give to some persons who are hoping to come to limelight but of course , these people have a myopic reasoning and can’t reason across their limited data and obviously what appeals to their want and interest when it comes to movie.
Sometimes i see the hypocrisy playing out in their commentary. How on earth do u tell someone to wrap it up because u believe the movie will be boring if stretched? Are u ok upstairs? Like how? Just five episodes !
But some of you watch season movies with lot and loads of episodes, ur Kdrama and the rest and because u can’t reach those people, nobody says anything and u are even begging for more.
Just five episodes u conclude the future and end of the whole drama. What makes a movie run in episodes sef? If you don’t know let me highlight just few items; the nature of the drama, the storyline, the purpose and what it tends to achieve at the end and every episode must have a suspenseful ending that’s why if an episode ends, viewers are begging for more cause they want to know what’s next so you being impatient would not make a produce stop or wrap a story up.
So if Ruth came up with a drama and decided to give 100 or 200 episodes of it , be rest assured there would never be anything boring . In fact , u can stretch a storyline line to many seasons with multiple episodes if you are a good storyteller and people would never get bored because u know how to hold your audience.
Back in the days we went far to watch so many telenovelas and some were not running in few series but hundred of episodes but we were patient enough to watch them all not even wanting them to end because the storyline was worth everything and captivating.
So if Ruth has a drama and a beautiful, thrilling and suspenseful one at that, u don’t ask her to wrap it up. If you don’t have data or patience to continue then u move forward and let people who enjoy it stay.
So Ruth if “once upon a village” has hundred episodes, madam keep giving us until the end, u don’t dare rush any cos if you do, I will definitely come for u with my review. My eyes are on you!
To end this I repeat again, DNGAF about these set of people, let the episodes keep rolling in.
