This week we sent out a large group of Danish Jersey heifers — all genomically tested for extra transparency and confidence.

Genomic testing gives our customers a stronger data foundation of selected animals. It helps document genetic potential for production, health, fertility and functionality — making it easier to invest in the right heifers for the future.

🥛 Holstein BIO cows tested A2A2 – ready for Holland! 🇳🇱

Today, Holstein organic cows are ready for loading at our export facilities in Kolding — selected, prepared and tested according to our customer’s specific request.

This time, the customer asked for A2A2-tested cows.

What does A2A2 mean?
A2A2 refers to a specific genetic variant of the beta-casein protein in milk. Cows with the A2A2 genotype produce milk containing only the A2 type of beta-casein. In several markets, A2 milk is becoming more attractive because some consumers prefer it and believe it may be easier to digest compared to conventional milk containing A1 beta-casein.

Over the past weeks, we have been working hard on the export of 𝟏,𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 to several different destinations around the world.

Some have travelled by road, some by boat, and some even by air — all with one shared focus: quality animals, strong logistics, and good cooperation from start to finish.
