This really nice family from Germany found us and ordered Flatwraps and a Thai deli sandwich - and didn’t even know we use tofu! 😂 I saw his tee-shirt and had to take a photo 🌱🌱

We’re testing our Sloppy Mexi Deli Salad - a creamy salad made with potato cubes, fresh veggies, our Mexican dressing - and of course topped with our Sloppy Mexi Filling. Made the first three salads… and sold two of them before we could put them into the display 😁🌱🌱. Plant-based, gluten-free, topped with our protein - and packed with flavour! Test is starting well 🥰.

WE’RE HIRING

Sloppy Jo’s is looking for a new part-time teammate to join us on Jægersborggade!

We’re a small, friendly team serving plant-based deli sandwiches, flatwraps and our signature Sloppy fillings in a lively neighbourhood with lots of great regulars.

No experience needed - we’ll teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is that you’re reliable, enjoy being around people, bring positive energy to work, and feel comfortable in a busy environment. Fluent English is required, and Danish is a big plus.

A few practicals:
- Part-time, around 15 hours/week, including some weekends
- Starting July or August
- You’re able to work legally in Denmark

Vi måtte lige læse den to gange.

I december skrev KøbenhavnLiv, at vi lavede “en af byens bedste sandwich”.

I sidste uge blev anmeldelsen hentet frem igen under “Fra Arkivet”. Og nu lød overskriften:

“Her laver de byens bedste sandwich.”

Tak Rebecca Veinø og KøbenhavnLIV for at se, hvad vi prøver at lave: mad der smager så godt, at selv tofu-skeptikere skifter mening.

Det betyder virkelig meget for os.

We’re experimenting with new menu items - transforming our deli sandwich into a great and juicy fresh wrap for easier on-the-go eating is one of them. We love it - but we aren’t exactly objective 😆. Need to try with some customers soon. Not on the menu yet, but you never know 😁😁🌱🌱

🇧🇪 We met these two visitors from Belgium outside the deli this week.

They were on a cycling trip through Scandinavia, including both Norway and Denmark, when they suddenly spotted us on Jægersborggade.

As they biked by, we heard one of them suddenly say:

“Oh, that’s Sloppy Jo’s!”

We’d actually appeared in their Google Maps searches before the trip, but they couldn’t remember where we were located. And there we were 😁. So they stopped for lunch.

Afterwards they confirmed one important thing:

It really is Sloppy 😄🌱
