Today is a very special day in the Crushgrind® family ❤️

Our founder, Ken Lassen, and his wife are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary: 60 years of marriage.

If you know Ken, you know he has never been someone who does things halfway. When he believes in something, he commits. Fully. With determination, curiosity and a fair amount of stubbornness along the way 😉

But 60 years together is, of course, a story written by two people.

It is thousands of ordinary days. Changes, challenges, celebrations, family dinners, disagreements, laughter, and choosing to keep building a life together through all of it.

These wedding photographs from 60 years ago give us a beautiful glimpse into the day it all began. And receiving congratulations from His Majesty the King of Denmark makes this already remarkable anniversary even more memorable.

At Crushgrind®, we talk a lot about things that are made to last. Today, those words mean something much bigger...

Ken and Gurli, congratulations on 60 years together. From all of us ❤️

Please join us in wishing them a very happy diamond anniversary 🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏼‍♀️💒💕

You know when someone says: “Come as you are 😊 Don’t bring anything”?

But it just doesn’t feel right to come empty handed 😅

So instead of another bottle or bouquet, bring something that can become part of their kitchen. A self-watering pot with fresh basil is useful straight away, looks good on the table, and keeps giving long after dinner is over.

It also takes about two minutes to turn it into a really lovely gift: add their favourite herb, tie a ribbon around it, done 👏

🌿Save this idea for the next time someone tells you not to bring anything 😉

A little throwback to this Wednesday 💛

Wine tasting, games, good food and lots of laughs. Just a regular Wednesday… kind of 😉

At Crushgrind, we love finding reasons to gather around good taste and good company 🥰

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone 💃🕺

A few days late, but still worth sharing 💛

3 Days of Design was spent walking, talking, getting inspired, and occasionally stopping to say: “Wait… you need to see this - there’s a Crushgrind mechanism in that one too 😉”

One of the best things about 3 Days of Design is seeing how many talented people we get to call partners, customers, collaborators, and friends.

We came home with tired feet, full camera rolls, and lots of new ideas.

That’s a pretty good day if you ask us 🥰

A lot of people love the idea of fresh herbs. Fewer people want another thing to manage at home 😅

That is exactly why we like things that make everyday flavour easier, not more complicated. Fresh basil within reach. Thyme ready when dinner needs a little help. A pot that helps keep it all alive without asking for too much back.

Because better cooking often comes down to very small things. Not fancy things. Just the right things, close by 🪴

A little Thursday throwback from earlier this week 👯

We joined a local event on Tuesday evening ☀️ some ran, some walked 😄 But mostly it was just about getting outside together, enjoying the weather and having a good time as a team 💛

The outdoor kitchen season starts with the little things.

Fresh air, a table outside, something simple on the grill, and flavour close at hand. Amsterdam To Go is made for exactly those moments, easy to grab, easy to bring, and easy to use wherever the meal happens.

Because good tools should move with you. From kitchen to terrace, from weekday dinner to slow spring weekends.

Are you officially in outdoor cooking mode yet? ☀️

We are not big believers in saving the good things only for special occasions.

We would much rather use them on a Monday. Outside if the weather allows it. Inside if it does not. At the table, by the stove, or wherever dinner ends up happening.

That is part of the thinking behind Amsterdam To Go. It is made to move with you. Easy to pick up, easy to bring along, and made for the kind of meals that are real, relaxed, and not trying too hard.

Because when something is worth having on your table, it should be worth using often.

Not everything we learn around food is written down.

Sometimes it is the way someone sets the table. The way they taste before serving. The way they ask if everyone has enough. The way they make a meal feel like care.

We think a lot of love lives there 🤍

Mother’s Day makes us think about the small things we inherit through food and meals. Not just recipes, but attention. Generosity. Taste. The habit of gathering people well.

What is one food memory that instantly brings someone to your mind?
