Specialty Imports of Greek natural wine. We have operated several wine shops, the last, "The Chapel" on Blågårds Plads closed Saturday, March 28th, 2026.

OINOFILIA represents only Greek wine and wineries and imports directly from the smaller, organic or natural wineries in Greece for B2B and B2C sales in Denmark and Sweden. As insurance of quality, selecting and promoting first–class wine, it is a prerequisite for OINOFILIA visiting the winery in person, tasting the wine, experiencing its setting, terroir and production ways before starting an impo

rt and the sale of any wine. For OINOFILIA it is key building strong bonds with the winery owners, promoting directly to interested parties and as much as possible without extra links of in-between agents. Hosting and participating wine tasting events - explaining the unique Greek grape varietals, wine regions, wines - and suggesting examples of food pairing – is a key activity for us.

After seven years in the heart of the city, The Chapel Wine Shop will close its doors at the end of March.

It has been a privilege to share Greek natural and historic wines with you — through good times, KoncertKirken concert nights, quiet afternoons, Covid, snowstorms… and everything in between.
This little niche shop was always a labour of love, and you made it worthwhile.

As we close, we’re inviting you for one last visit — and to take a piece of The Chapel home with you.

Every week of March, our discount grows. Come early for the best selection; come whenever feels right to say goodbye.

* Postponement of Chapel Opening Tomorrow, Saturday 24th *

Maria is still recovering from Flu A that struck heavily on December 24th. Still coughing like a dragon, she cannot open tomorrow, January 24th, 12-4pm.

The Chapel will open Friday, January the 30th, 4-6pm.

Additional Chapel hours for February will be announced.

Keep warm these freezing Scandi winter wind days.

* The Chapel is Closed last Week of 2025 *

Dear all,

I’m unfortunately under the weather with sickness since December 24th, so the shop will be involuntarily closed this week.

I hate to miss seeing you all, and the chance to cheer with you in Magnum Karanika bubbles on the 31st, as tradition dictates, but I need to rest up and get back on my feet.

As a plan B, I invite you in for cutting the Βασιλόπιτα (Vasilopita) - the Greek New Year Cake - and a glass of bubbles at a Special New Year Oinofilia Symposium on Saturday the 24th of January, 12-4pm (a Facebook event will come up soon).

On the 12th year in a row, sells the great Cuvées of Méthode Traditionnelle from .
Visit them today 11am-6pm or tomorrow 11am-11pm.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves.

* Service Announcement *

The Chapel was scheduled to open today, October 16th, 4-6pm, but, unforutantely due to sickness, this is not possible, personnel wise.

Please try to peak by one of the following Thusdays; October 23rd or/and October 30th.

If you are wine thirsty, write to Maria and she will consult with you on wines and plan to meet you in the Chapel soonest, or dispatch the wine with post or arrange a personal delivery.

Due to bureaucratic issues, and IT difficulties, the wines are temporarily taken off site till we find a doable solution. But, we still have them.
