Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having Jason and Erik from by at to brew our version of their Grand Cru — a huge strong ale.
To hit this insane starting gravity, we made a larger portion of our malt syrup than normal, which ended up being the biggest starting gravity we have ever done — hitting an impressive original gravity of 1.192.
This grand boi will aged in some barrels for a veryyyy long time.

Two times is a tradition, right? Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting our second edition of and Dark beer and chocolate pairing along with , and . Thanks to all the people who came for this incredible tasting. We had beers that have only been served at Luas Taproom, beers from Dimensional that were the highest rated on Untappd in the first half of 2025, non release magnum collab with and chocolate from Friis-Holm that you will only be able to get at 3 star Michelin restaurants — how lucky can we be?

It’s gonna be hard to top next year — but we will do our very best.

Special thanks to

MBCC EXCLUSIVE
Another exclusive beer we have made for the festival is another collab with the amazing .

STELAR CARE is another MBCC exclusive for GREEN SESSION and yet again a collab with the amazing Marlobobo.
It’s our signature Barleywine recipe where we split the wort in two and boiled one half for several hours to create the thickest caramelized malt syrup you can dream of. We aged the Barleywine in a small format Apple Brandy barrel for a year. After aging we blended that with a Bourbon barrel aged apple mead made with caramelized honey, apple reduction, extra dark maple syrup, Ugandan vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks from Marlobobo.

We can’t wait to serve this special blend for all of you!

MBCC EXCLUSIVE
Last year during , we had the great pleasure of welcoming the crew for a special brew day together. What started as a shared idea eventually became two unique versions of the same barrel aged Double Pastry Stout: HOMEBREW DAYS and PASTRY STREET.

HOMEBREW DAYS is a Double Pastry Stout aged in a small-format spelt rye barrel, then conditioned on Bora Bora and Ugandan vanilla beans from alongside massive amounts of raw and toasted coconut. The result is a rich stout with deep layers of coconut, chocolate, vanilla, and
whisky warmth. BLUE SESSION 🔵

PASTRY STREET takes the same barrel aged base with vanilla and coconut, but builds further upon it with toasted Marcona almonds and tonka beans, creating an even more decadent and dessert inspired expression while still keeping balance and depth at its core. GREEN SESSION 🟢

The brewing process began before mash in, where a generous portion of pale chocolate malt was cold steeped directly in the mash water. This gentle approach allowed us to draw out softer, more delicate chocolate notes without excessive bitterness. During the boil, we added coconut sugar to contribute subtle notes of caramelized coconut. Two months before racking the beer of the barrels we added Bora Bora and Ugandan vanilla beans from to rest in the Thy Whisky barrels for several months to really get that vanilla through.

THANK YOU to everyone who dropped by for our TTO with at — WHAT. A. DAY!
The queue was long, but the love was even bigger. We really wanted to show that Pleasanti and are much more than just barrel aged beers, but also lagers, hazies, and saisons.
It was truly an honor to serve you all from behind the bar, and I can’t thank enough those of you who waited more than an hour in line for beers. Pure madness and dedication!

And a very special thanks to Rob and Marcella from Pulpit Rock, who came all the way to Denmark to be part of this event. Also, a huge thanks to my close friends from .dk, , and for being part of some of the collabs for this event — and for even showing up. That warms our hearts!

TOMORROW 14:00 at .

We are very excited to share our latest bottle release with you. A very special collab with our beloved friends from who came all the way from Decorah, Iowa to Copenhagen for this bottle release. This is our biggest drop so far in terms of the number of bottles for available.

The beer in mention is UNCLE ROB’S CARDAMOM BUNS - an Imperial Stout aged 18 months in a small format cognac barrels and have been treated with cashew, coconut, vanilla and cardamom.

The full tap list is ready for our grand tap takeover at on March 14th alongside our friends from Pulpit Rock.
It’s a complete tap takeover, so to speak - meaning every single tap will feature either , Pleasanti, or beers. Besides the taps, we’ll also have different bottles to go, and we’ve planned a lot of different happenings throughout the day.

And can you really be part of a tap takeover without serving your own beers to you guys? Of course not. That’s why we’ll be serving the beers ourselves for the first hour!

This will be the first -and probably the last- time you’ll ever see 11 beers from each of us at the same bar. So drop by for an unforgettable day in Copenhagen.
