Behind any good beer is a good story. That is the philosophy of, Copenhagen based, Old Hat Brewing Company, founded in November 2018 as a ‘gypsy brewery’ by historian Thomas Kastrup. With a passion for both beer and history the natural way to go was to combine the two. Therefore, Old Hat aim to brew its way through history, allowing everybody the taste of history told through beer. Old Hat like to experiment and always strive towards the highest level of quality; only recipes worthy of the history books are put into production. Old Hat is proud to be a ‘gipsy brewery’, as this begs the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge when cooperating with other passionate beer-geeks. Consequently, ensuring progression resulting in many new, interesting and distinctive flavors.
