A new chapter is taking shape at BeGin CPH
Something very special is happening in the old barns of Hesede Hovedgaard, part of the historic Gisselfeld Estate in Denmark.
We are currently in the middle of transforming 400 square metres of beautiful old agricultural buildings into a fully modernised distillery for BeGin CPH. It is a big project, and one that brings together everything we love: craftsmanship, modern distillation, Danish heritage and the slightly mad idea that gin should be made with both precision and personality.
The construction is progressing step by step. The old barns are being carefully adapted to house a modern production setup, while still preserving the charm and atmosphere that make Hesede Hovedgaard such a unique place. This will not just be a production facility. It will be the future home of BeGin CPH, where we can distil, experiment, develop new spirits and welcome guests into the world behind the bottle.
Our ambition is to create a distillery that reflects who we are: rooted in Danish craft, curious by nature, and built for the future. A place where classic gin-making meets modern equipment, where small-batch production can grow without losing its soul, and where every bottle can be traced back to a real place, real people and real passion.
There is still work to be done, but every week the vision becomes more visible. Floors, walls, technical installations and production planning are slowly turning old barns into a living, working distillery.
We cannot wait to open the doors and show you what we have been building.
BeGin CPH is growing up — but we promise, we are still keeping the spirit slightly rebellious.
