To strengthen our ability to support this work, we are pleased to welcome Martin Bonde to Urban Wine Box as Head of Wine.

Martin holds the WSET Diploma and brings more than 16 years of experience from Erik Sørensen Vin, spanning fine wine sales, education, and professional communication.

At Urban Wine Box, Martin works closely with clients on wine curation, portfolio review, and the careful realisation of selected holdings, supporting informed decisions with clarity and market context.

From January 1st, 2026, Urban Wine Box operates an officially approved public bonded warehouse at Bananfortet, authorised by the Danish Customs Agency.

Bonded storage remains a rare and highly specialised infrastructure in Europe. With this approval, Urban Wine Box introduces a new professional layer to fine wine storage in Denmark, bringing internationally recognised bonded storage practices into a locally managed framework.

For collectors and advisors, this enables in bond acquisition and storage of fine wines under customs supervision, with duties and VAT deferred until release. Wines may be held, transferred, or sold while remaining under customs control — supporting cleaner ownership structures, improved liquidity, and precise timing decisions.

This development strengthens the framework supporting serious fine wine holdings in Denmark.
