BIG NEWS!!!!

We are coming to Copenhagens food mekka on Friday 10-19!!

We want to make it even easier for you to get your hands on delicious nutritious food straight from our local regenerative farm, so we are making it available for you on Fridays 10-19 in central Copenhagen.

Come by during your lunch break, straight after work on your way home, or bring a few friends for a fun late afternoon shopping. We will be waiting for you 🌞

We are bringing our full selection of products: egg, milk, yoghurt, cheeses, bone broth, bacon, salami, sausages, beef, lard, tallow and so much more.

We cannot wait to see you and share all of our goodies with you !!

Every day is new grass day, and every day is as exciting as the last. Today, Pinky, Amber and Bella were the last to realise that new grass was on offer, so they had to move fast!! With a few exciting dance moves, and some moos, everyone made it to the new paddock.

It is just such a unique and beautiful sound, when milk is being made. The sound of grass being ripped over by the rapid pulls from the cow as it’s wrapped around its tongue.

With the backdrop of the setting spring sun, it was a beautiful end to a busy day of preparing our cows summer palace and planning new ways to make our products available to you. It has been a day well-spent!

It’s that wonderful time a year where we once again are bringing our cows to pasture after morning milking. It may be one of our very favourite things to do on the farm. It still amazes me how these wonderful beings are making grass into delicious milk for their calves and for us while also nurturing our soil and environment. They are truly magical.

This morning we had a very serious complaint!!!!

We are a little shocked but understand the seriousness of this issue. We understand that our VIPs need special treatment fit for their seniority and rank.

We promise to do better and serve our self-declared queen with respect, honour and proper breakfast fit for royalty.

Management at Søagergård will do better, Miss Painter Wife, Queen of the forest!

Have you ever thought about what a 3 week old piglet needs? Well, here it is.

1. A happy and free mama with lots of milk
2. A forest to explore with soil to dig in
3. A group of siblings and/or cousins to play with
4. A nice warm hut to return to when rest is needed

That is the piggie life that these wonderful being deserve!

So delicious, you are the best!!

I love cheese! I love eating it. I love making it. I love milking our cows (I don’t do it often). I love hanging out with our cows (I do this often).

I love how magical our cows are, turning grass into the most delicious milk. I love how the magic continues in the transformation of milk into cheese. Nature is wild, and magical ⭐️🌱🌞

Do you know what is a sure sign that you have some elderly ladies in your flock of hens?

The answer is eggs so large that they don’t fit in the egg boxes. Our hen usually lay larger and larger eggs the older they get, and the larger the eggs the longer it takes to be made, and the fewer eggs they lay. So we are nearer us the time when it’s no longer financially viable to continue with these lovely ladies.

In a few months, our current hen will retire to the land of chicken bone broth, but until then they were enjoy fresh lush grass all through spring 🌱💚

Today Andy is doing deliveries to a little later than usual. He had another important delivery at hand, supporting our wonderful sow Miss Painter in delivering 12 healthy and strong piglets.

So if you are awaiting to pick up your goodies know that he is on his way shortly, and your order should be ready for pick-up before noon.
