Don’t make the same mistake many have made. I saw it and lived it, let me tell you everything.
Tip 1: Don’t Rush Into Building Expensive Packing Centers
When the Chinese market seemed promising, many exporters built huge packing centers to meet phytosanitary requirements.
These constructions 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟏𝟓𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎, with bank loans at almost 17% interest.
But guess what? The didn’t open as expected, and that investment turned into a huge burden.
It drained operational capital from companies that still can’t recover.
