This year we celebrate 5 years of Ilma pood in quite an unusual manner - with closing of the shop.
It has been an amazing journey and I cannot be more thankful to everyone - every single customer, all the suppliers, producers, people who with their everyday decisions have been making it possible to make our little country and our sea (and beyond!) a little cleaner, a little happier, a little more supportive towards small producers.
For me it was a place where I learned a lot, where I grew (and failed, and grew again) in a totally new role of an entrepreneur in addition to my professional career.
We had the most amazing team ( a meme of "you can never unbecome an ilmagirl" stays forever) - and we still keep in touch with the most.
We did a lot of social impact - this is how we learnt how amazing our customers are. Honestly, this is the saddest part - to part with you.
Starting from plant swap for fun, going into very serious and needed things with 500 dresses, hygiene products for women in need with Feministeerium, collecting medical supplies for early refugees on the border, school items for refugee kids - this is how I learned that despite the myth Estonians want to keep - this is a supportive and openhearted crowd.
I am sure that our team has inspired some to make the first step to less plastic - please guys, go on with it!
Thank you a lot for this journey. I will miss it a lot, truly.
I ask everyone to get in touch on the financial issues and we will solve them not fast, but definitely.
