Meet Ube 💜

Ube is a naturally purple yam from the Philippines, loved for its gently sweet, nutty flavour and vibrant color. It contains fibre, carbohydrates, potassium and protective plant compounds called anthocyanins.

Enjoy it in lattes, smoothies, desserts and baked treats for a colourful Filipino-inspired twist. ✨

“Onkochishin” @ Morii Tea House

“Momiji” 2026 continues with a Japanese-only DJ set by Wataru Yoshimoto, now joined by a special live performance from TAIKO DÕJÕ Estonia. 🥁

🎶 Wataru Yoshimoto

Wataru Yoshimoto is a cross-media artist and DJ from Osaka, Japan.

Working through his project BLOTTO, he explores curiosity as a driving force for creativity. His practice spans music, fashion, photography and installation, connecting different disciplines through a single artistic vision.

As a DJ, he builds immersive sets moving between rhythm, texture and atmosphere.

🥁 TAIKO DÕJÕ Estonia

We’re excited to welcome TAIKO DÕJÕ Estonia, bringing the powerful sound and energy of Japanese taiko drums to Morii Tea House.

They have been practicing taiko for four years and, since last year, have been learning under the guidance of Sensei Akira Washimi.

Expect live taiko performances both outside and inside Morii Tea House throughout the afternoon.

More details and performance times coming soon. 👀
