This was shared by the autism center in Maadi. We have often had children with autism at the farm either by accident or recommendation, and we've always been delighted to see them. Our dogs are self-trained therapy dogs who have been working with Gazan refugee families for the past three years, and our horses' training as reliable trail horses was perfect for making them reliable, safe, and friendly for working with children.
đż A beautiful, safe day out for our autism families đż
Weâre always looking for spaces where our children can just beâfree, happy, and comfortable. And this is one of those rare places đ¤
This Saturday, Spring Into Summer at Al Sorat Farm is offering a full day in natureâwide open spaces, animals, water play, and a relaxed environment where kids can explore at their own pace.
⨠Pony rides & donkey carts
⨠inflatable pool and water play for the kids
⨠Animals to interact with (horses, goats, dogs & more)
⨠Plenty of space to move, regulate, and just enjoy
⨠Food options available (vegan lunch & fresh pizza)
What we love most?
Itâs not crowded, itâs outdoors, and children can wander safely without pressureâsomething many of our families truly need.
This could be a really special, low-stress outing for our kidsâand a chance for parents to connect as well.
