My staff and I work really hard to provide an amazing and unique experience to our guests. We spend a lot of time preparing the environment as well as organising the farm work around our hosting activities. When guests like the family of 10 that were hosted today are unappreciative, rude, bully staff and then refuse to pay the very reasonable bill, it makes me so sad, especially when I'm not personally there to support them. They don't deserve this kind of treatment especially from people they actually know! Sending them love and respect. ❤

It's been quite a roller coaster for me since my surgery two weeks ago, so I'm delighted to report that I'm finally feeling a lot better! Meanwhile farm life continues with various comings and goings, the saddest of which was saying goodbye to my lovely girl Malak, who's been with me for about 15 years and was probably 2 or 3 when she arrived. She was hardly able to walk in the last 2 plus months and intervention by several vets didn't produce a jot of improvement. The past few days, she was down a fair bit and had to be helped up and by Wednesday we knew the kindest thing was to let her go. I'm gonna miss her terribly 🥺
It's not all bad though......Farm and animals otherwise doing well.

Normally our horses are never stabled, living free range outside all year round. However, when they are lame , or otherwise unwell, they get box rest. Unfortunately, Asel is a champ at hurting herself so she seems to get boxed more than all of the others put together. Looks like she and I will both be taking the next few days easy, heading to hospital myself shortly.....
