One of the most memorable times was when everyone in the family would gather around a tablayet (a shorter, round table) while beautiful food, prepared by setty(Grandma), would be served. Families would have the chance to sit together and share in great conversations while enjoying delicious, home cooked meals. Today, many Egyptians are missing out on both the time around the table and the delightful traditional foods of Egypt.
