Procurement Engineer for Water and Wastewater treatment Projects:
🔹 Receiving purchase requests with specification and necessary approvals
🔹 Communicate with different suppliers.
🔹 Quotation review with Technical Office and handling approvals
🔹 Searching for alternatives in case of unavailability and coordinating approvals with Technical Office.
🔹 Conduct Comparison sheets based on the technically approved offers received from technical office.
🔹 Commercial Negotiation with suppliers; financially, delivery and payment terms.
🔹 Handle approvals from Procurement manager on the selected supplier and comparison sheet.
🔹 Drafting POs draft and any necessary forms.
🔹 Handling POs draft for review with all integrated parties.
🔹 PO confirmation and approvals internally and externally.
🔹 Updating the status of the PO in the procurement packages log.
🔹 Creating payment requests communicate with finance dept. and follow up until closure.
🔹 Follow up with supplier until materials receiving to site and receive delivery note.
🔹 Initial Review and discuss comparison sheet, PO’s and Contracts with procurement Engineer/ specialist.
🔹 Prepare the required Logs, Reports, procurement plans for projects.
🔹 Oversee Procurement Officer and ensure that all activities including accountabilities are carried out in compliance with the Procurement Policy and Finance policy.

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering
3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the water treatment, construction, or industrial sectors.
🔹 Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
🔹 Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
🔹 Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
🔹 Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
🔹 Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations and standards.

🔹 Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, sectional views and civil guide drawings.

🔹 Assist the mechanical design engineer in modifying and updating drawings based on site feedback and engineering markups.
