Beeswax is a mixture of organic substances produced by the wax glands of honeybees for honeycomb construction.
It is a multi-component solid substance from white (with a slight yellow tint) to yellow-brown color with a characteristic honey smell. Under the influence of sunlight in thin layers of beeswax lightens. In the presence of propolis, beeswax may take on a greenish tint.
Nourishing beeswax cream
Products needed:
Olive oil (you can almond oil, peach oil) - ½ cup;
coconut oil - ½ cup;
melted wax on a water bath - about 50 g;
essential oil of your choice (plays the role of a preservative) - 10 drops;
liquid vitamins A and E - ampoule.
The components are thoroughly mixed until the wax has not solidified. Then the mixture is transferred to a container from which it will be convenient to extract. Vitamins are added at will, you can do without them.
Store such a natural cream should be stored in a cold place, for example, on the shelf of the refrigerator.
Lip balm
Solidifying, wax forms a thin film that effectively protects and heals wounds.
Components:
almond oil - 1 tsp;
melted wax - 1 tsp;
cocoa butter - 2 tsp.
The components are mixed while the wax is hot. Then immediately pour the composition into a small container or a case of lipstick and leave until solidification. In the future, the balm is used as a normal hygienic lipstick.
How to distinguish a natural product from a fake?
Unscrupulous sellers realize and non-natural wax. But the following characteristics distinguish natural wax from fake:
matte surface on the cut;
not honey aroma (light wax has almost no aroma, but nevertheless the odor should be either slightly honeyed, or none);
hard consistency (crumbles when heated, rather than resembling plasticine);
color varies from light yellow with a pink cast to dark yellow;
does not change color when melted;
mixes well with fats (animal and vegetable), but does not dissolve in alcohol, water and glycerin.

Leave a piece of the desired size in hot water (50-60°C) for about 25-30 minutes. During this time it will become soft and pliable. It can be used to mold all sorts of figures, make applications, etc. But after about a quarter of an hour, the product will start to harden again.
The advantage of using wax for children's creativity - the product is completely natural, smells pleasant and safe, even if the baby swallows a piece, not to mention the benefits of wax for the skin (of course, except for those who are allergic to bees and bee products).
