Here's the 'old school' version.
No electricity.
No timers.
Just hang up on your Naya and wait.
Simple.
Life is as complicated as you make it,after all......

A photo walk around one of my bigger gardens.
This one i call the 'the never ending story'.
It's more of a park than a garden with a lot of forest too.
There's always something interesting to look at on a walk around the garden each week.
From forest /trees to mountain shrubs to Lillie's and Orchids in pots.
The garden is responding to more light after I removed some of the thickest trees.
Next big job is installing professional irrigation and setting it correctly to the usage of each plant.

The
Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia),
I hate seeing this plant.
I volunteered one year to help clear mountiansides of this plant.
Here in Valencia Province,Spain it is classed as an invasive species.
Taking over mountian side after mountian side.
It was the hardest thing I've ever done (and the most painfull)
You have to wear thick leather everything.
Lovely in the Spanish chilly days........not as if leather stopped the millions(and I mean millions) of punchers.
Each one equally painfull to a 1950s Matrons drian pipe jobby........
Just one 'disk' of these plants can grow into another huge bush.
They swam over mountians making them compleatly impassable.
So please do not plant these in your gardens.
There are several types here in Spain (all interduced)and all classed as invasive and prohibited to plant(except in gardens🤷).
Time people stop selling these plants don't you think.....

First look around the plants for this summer.

The Acanthus is looking great in the morning sunshine.
This is a wild plant here in Spain.
It's normally in the wetter places.
I remember I had one on my Balconey many decades ago in Birmingham.
To have other mens prize plants as w**ds is just great.
Remember,
As I was told in training,
There's no such thing as a w**d.
It's just a plant out of place.
I'm a lover of leaves and structure plants,but you can't deny the beauty of such a flower.
I particularly like the symmetry, and the purple and white.
The flowers turn into seed pods the size of small dates that birds just love.
I have watched a Black Bird eat so many he couldn't fly away🤣.

Well the Barbados Lily (Hippeastrum puniceum)has been watching the fuss I was making of the Peace Lilly flowering and thought she would get in on the action.

I got this plant as a little cutting a few months ago.
Coleus amboinicus (commonly known as Cuban Oregano or Mexican Mint)
There's lots of uses as treatments from this plant and cooking of coarse.
I love the purple flower against the white Cana Lillies.

The sword Yucca or Spanish knife is flowering just lovely now.
My client is so happy to see it.
So am I.

The Echiums ,The Pride of Madera are flowering now.
They love being under Pines.
To keep them under control best to prune after flowering .
