While rosé season floods the shelves, Château de Selle stands out as one of only 18 estates classified Cru Classé within Côtes de Provence since 1955.

A w**e born among pine forests in Taradeau, from vines planted on stony soils of gypsum, red clay and gravel, farmed organically since 2022.

The grapes are hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, then pressed directly with barely a moment of skin contact — no maceration, just enough to draw out that pale pink hue and the finest aromatics — before a slow, cool fermentation locks in every nuance.

In the glass, nectarine and citrus notes stand out against a floral backdrop. The palate is fresh, mineral and balanced, with a delicious finish echoing grapefruit.

What would you pair it with?

Meet the Producer💡🍇

𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐭𝐭

Domaines Ott stands among the great names of Provence, built across three estates that capture the full diversity of the region's terroir.

It began in 1912 with Château de Selle, in Taradeau, on soils of gypsum, red clay and sandstone. In 1936 came Clos Mireille, on the coast, where rare schist soils shaped by sea mist give whites and rosés real character. And in 1956, Château Romassan joined the family in Bandol, where Mourvèdre leads its reds and rosés. Château de Selle and Clos Mireille both hold Cru Classé status within Côtes de Provence, a distinction awarded to just 18 estates in 1955.

Since 1930, the Coeur de Grain rosé — now made across all three estates — has been one of the world's most acclaimed rosés, bottled in the amphora-inspired design created that same year by René Ott, the founder's son. Since 2004, the house has been part of the Ch*****ne Louis Roederer group, though w**emaking remains in the hands of the Ott family, today led by Jean-François Ott, of the fourth generation.

Of those 18 Cru Classé estates in Provence, can you name another besides Domaines Ott?

Ask ten producers what "natural w**e" means and you'll get ten different answers.

Decades before the term even existed, Jules Chauvet laid the foundations:

→ Healthy fruit isn't optional.
→ Cellar hygiene matters more than any additive decision.
→ Rejecting sulphur overuse isn't the same as rejecting sulphur.

Two growers we work with, Jean Foillard and Sylvain Pataille, apply those same principles today. Full story on our blog — link in bio.

Pregunta a diez productores qué significa "vino natural" y obtendrás diez respuestas distintas.

Uncork of the Week! 🍾

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

Produced from limestone-rich vineyards in Westhofen and organically farmed since 1990, Wittmann Riesling Estate Trocken 2023 is a precise, dry white from one of Rheinhessen’s benchmark estates. .wittmann

In the cellar, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing mainly in large traditional oak casks.

The nose reveals citrus peel aromas such as grapefruit and lime, alongside notes of nectarine and lemongrass over a subtle floral background. The palate is vibrant, crisp and saline, with a long, mineral-driven finish.

A Riesling of remarkable purity and balance, uncommon for an entry-level cuvée.

Available at Vin Finesse!

Château Suduiraut, classified as a Premier Cru Classé in 1855, benefits from an exceptional microclimate shaped by the meeting of the cool waters of the Ciron and the warmer flow of the Garonne. This interaction generates the morning mists essential for the development of Botrytis cinerea.

The estate, located adjacent to Château d’Yquem, comprises 90 hectares of vineyards in production. Sémillon is the dominant variety, complemented by small parcels of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris.
Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, through multiple passes, selecting only berries affected by noble rot.

Château Suduiraut 2017 is predominantly Sémillon (94%), blended with Sauvignon Blanc. The w**e was aged for eighteen months in oak barrels (50% new and 50% one-year-old).
A superb Sauternes, offering a remarkable balance between sweetness and freshness. Excellent ageing potential. Soon available at Vin Finesse!
