Here’s a glimpse of the tasting notes for Tossals Selecció Especial 2021:
* Varieties: Carignan, Garnacha Negra
Medium deep ruby red colour. Pure and intense nose showing some stony/slatey notes with wild herbs, ripe plum, cherry, red berries and liquorice with mild (old or larger) oak. The palate shows good volume with a rounded texture, grainy tannin with layers of spicy fruit, warm and ripe but still restrained for the style with a well kept level of acidity, long, layered and finely spicy finish.

【テイスティングコメント】
中程度からやや深みのあるルビーレッド。香りは純粋で力強く、鉱物的／スレートのニュアンス、野生ハーブ、熟したプラム、チェリー、赤い果実、リコリス、控えめなオークの香りが感じられる（古樽または大樽）。口当たりはしっかりとしたボリュームがあり、丸みのあるテクスチャー、粒状のタンニン、スパイシーで熟した果実の層が広がる。スタイルにしては落ち着きがあり、酸も良く保たれている。長く、層のある、繊細にスパイシーな余韻。

【Nota de cata】
Color rojo rubí medio intenso. Nariz pura e intensa con notas minerales/pizarra, hierbas silvestres, ciruela madura, cereza, frutos rojos y regaliz, con un toque sutil de roble (viejo o de barrica grande). En boca muestra buen volumen con textura redondeada, taninos granulosos y capas de fruta especiada, cálida y madura, pero aún contenida para el estilo, con un nivel de acidez bien equilibrado. Final largo, estructurado y finamente especiado.
