When I’m not baking- I’m cooking - and love gathering people around a table to share a meal. In this case a Saturday paella and then lazy Sunday morning cheesy scones - because the bread ran out and it was a good excuse to bake some scones. 😍

This Sunday is the polo market but it’s at the Santa Maria club, Los Pinos Sotogrande - not Ayala polo club San Enrique , as previously stated.
I’m being positive - The weather is gonna be fabs 🙏🙏🙏- the polo takes place earlier in the day so if you want to watch come earlier rather than later. The setting is beautiful and it’s a great day out for the whole family. Please come say hello and let me lead you into temptation with some yummy treats.
Tell me if you’d like me to keep a loaf of bread with your name on it.

Today I broke my savoury breakfast rule. When I was about to slather my toast in olive oil - I remembered the breakfast offering in Barcelona - toast with olive oil, chocolate and salt. I had to go for it as it sounded amazing but was a bit disappointed with how it arrived on the plate. So today I convinced myself that chocolate is a super food and broke my rule. Except I shaved the chocolate so it went all ooey gooey. All I can say is ditch the j***y chocolate spread - for this guilt free ( in my book anyway) option. Yuuum.

So sad to say the Polo market taking place tomorrow has been cancelled due to bad weather and wind forecasts for tomorrow. I’ll be back at another one - hope to see you there and will let you know when I’ll be baking up a storm for that. If you’re on the costa del sol hold onto your hat ❤️😬

I’ll be at the Polo Market this Sunday joining N**e concepts Sotogrande - for the Iberian polo tour - and I’ll have more freshly baked doughnuts, breads and other delicious treats. If you’re like me and love an artisan market - this is a beautifully curated one in the most stunning setting and you get to watch the polo. Come and say hi and get your hands on some goodies.

Giving my chocolate HOTXLOVE bun some added loving to take it to the next level with chocolate butter, strawberries - and chocolate shavings. OMG. This tastes like true love 😍😍
