Perhaps the most important thing for having good pool water is a functioning pool filter. In old sand filters, the sand needs to be replaced at least every two years for the pool filter to function normally. Almost no one does this because it is complicated to change. A sand filter has a capacity of about 40 - 60 microns in filtration rate.

Limescale - Hard water destroys many boilers in Spain. In general, a boiler should be cleaned every two to three years to work efficiently. When the heating element on the boiler has calcium, it uses much more electricity and the heating becomes poor. Many people wait until it is too late and the boiler breaks down. Having a clean boiler is an investment and not that expensive. There is also an anode in the boiler against corrosion that needs to be replaced every three years.
