Today it was an honour and a privilege to be taken through the Matallana project by the great wine guru Telmo Rodriguez. Soils, villages, caves (colados), healthy vines and unhealthy roasted lamb. Thanks to for making it happen! Salud! (Or lack of, depending how much you drank). // Hoy fue un honor y un privilegio que el gran gurú del vino, Telmo Rodríguez, nos guiara a través del proyecto Matallana. Suelos, pueblos, cuevas (colados), viñas sanas y cordero asado poco saludable. ¡Gracias a por hacerlo posible! ¡Salud! (O falta de ella, dependiendo de cuánto hayas bebido).

A fresh and fun tasting last night as we celebrated Spain’s premier white wine grape: Verdejo! An off-dry and Gran Vino from Rueda, an easy drinker from La Mancha and even a rare version from Argentina! // Una cata fresca y divertida anoche mientras celebrábamos la principal variedad de uva blanca de España: ¡la Verdejo! Un vino semiseco y un Gran Vino de Rueda, un vino fácil de beber de La Mancha e incluso una versión poco común procedente de Argentina.
