Am 12. Juli erzählen wir mit sechs Gläsern, wo wir herkommen – und warum wir Wein so machen, wie wir ihn machen, und dazu gibt’s natürlich passende Food Pairings!

mallorca.

so diverse and interesting. mallorca is well known for it‘s red soil, the flat w**e growing regions of the island are shaped by it. But that’s not where we are on mallorca, the vineyards are in the Tramuntana mountains. Pure limestone.soils_ It shapes our w**es and is great for water storage, but there still is so much more nerd talk about soils!

We’re amatw**e.

Domenic founded his very own w**e brand, after one year of studying w**e in 2018. Starting with grapes from his uncle. In 2019 he traveled to California to make w**e there and quickly decided that he wanted to create his w**e there. In 2020 Annika joined Domenic on his journey. After going back and forth creating w**e und Germany and Cali. We got the opportunity to experience Mallorca, Spain for the first time in our lives. Now we also make w**e here since 2022. The pictures are a throwback, the leaves are already down and pruning will start soon. Winter time is settling in.

For us it’s always interesting to compare the different climates to each other, on Mallorca for example all the leaves are still on the vine! In Germany winter.weather_ is already there, but on Mallorca it feels like spring, let’s hope that it cools down soon.

My very first w**e was a sparkling.w**e_
A w**e that is so very special for me. In the vineyards of my grand father created, planted long before I could even think about w**e.
