Online Shopping 101: The SHEIN Chronicles 👗🛒

I spotted this cute 2-piece on SHEIN and instantly fell in love😍
But as any seasoned online shopper knows… the real work starts after you add it to your cart.

Here’s what I did/always do (and what you should always do too):

✅ Zoomed in on every uploaded photo
✅ Read the entire product description
✅ Scrolled through reviews and checked live customer photos.

The description of this outfit clearly stated that the bottom piece was a skirt, even though the image could easily be mistaken for pants. One photo even revealed that the material was see-through, the seller placed a hand behind the fabric to demonstrate transparency.

Still, in the reviews, a few customers were surprised:
• One didn’t realize it was a skirt
• Another was upset about the sheerness (transparency) but It was all there, you just had to look carefully.

Moral of the chronicles:

If you’re going to shop online, be patient, read between the lines, comprehend and pay attention to details. That way, you won’t have to cry over “what I ordered vs. what I got”. 😂

I don’t know if you have noticed, but I found out that our gadgets eavesdrops, down to maybe our TV set, how did I know this?

Several times, when I have a conversation with my husband, as soon as we turn on the the TV and opens YouTube, the first thing/advert we see is usually something related or exactly our just concluded conversation, I felt like I was thinking too much, not knowing my husband had also observed it, until we both voiced it out.

Now, do these gadgets also read our thoughts? Because about a week ago, I was in the bus going somewhere, with my phone on my hands and I thought about us going to hop on the Palma City sightseeing bus.

After a few minute, as soon as I opened my phone and entered Facebook, Boom 💥, next thing I saw was the image below 👇
“THE PALMA CITY SIGHT SEEING BUS”.

I don’t know how to explain this, but at this point, I have started reflecting on many things, the sci-fiction movies we see, Abi they will soon start accessing us through our devices/gadgets.

I also saw a foreign movie on Netflix, where a taxi driver was talking about how they are almost taking control of everyone, and how they have access to our phone cameras and sees us when ever they want (I don’t even know which people).

I might be overthinking but…it’s getting scary, if you have experience anything like this, could you please drop your experience, if you haven’t, try and pay attention, you will observe it.

I saw this non sticky pan on SHEIN, although I didn’t check measurement and it came really small, but I loved it, cos it’s pinky and super cute.

It makes just my egg, no extra mouth 😂😂
