TAPAS BAR CANARIA MOMENT

Who are we?

We are not a fine-dining restaurant, and we are not trying to be one. Nor are we a fast-food place where everything is about serving more and serving faster.

Canaria Moment is a small and cosy tapas bar in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, where what matters most is good, homemade-style food, simplicity and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our kitchen is small, so our menu is not huge either. We cook our food ourselves and choose dishes that we genuinely enjoy – the kind of food we would be happy to eat ourselves.

Here you will find Spanish tapas, flavours of the Canary Islands, a variety of meat and seafood dishes, and from time to time, some comforting homemade dishes that bring back memories of home.

We believe that good food does not need complicated names or fancy presentation. Sometimes the best dinner is simply well-prepared food, a glass of wine or sangria, and good company.

For us, tapas are about sharing.
Ordering several different small dishes, placing them in the middle of the table, tasting a little of everything, talking, laughing and simply taking your time.

And our terrace is another special part of Canaria Moment. In the evening, you can sit down, order something to eat, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the Gran Canaria sun slowly disappear over the horizon.

We are not trying to be a place for everyone.

We simply want to be that little place people discover, fall in love with, and remember when they return to Gran Canaria:

Let’s go there again.
