Our names are Dido & Jurriaan. As Grapehunters we travelled all over the world to make wine. Since 2018 we farm our 9,5 hectare of vines in the Empordà.

From these grapes we make wine without additives.

Harvest has officially started! 🍇

Our earliest harvest ever. The grapes are beautifully healthy, the team is ready, and the energy is high. Months of work in the vineyard have led to this moment.

Let the magic begin.

Edinburgh was 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒅 in the best possible way. It was an honour to talk TIMBERYARD about our journey: how two people with no family history in wine ended up starting a vineyard and winery from scratch in rural Catalunya. A story full of idealism, mistakes, blood, sweat, tears… and somehow, it worked 🍀.

We wrapped it all up with a couple of wonderful days in London, including a birthday dinner at Ducksoup with Otros Vinos. A special thank you to Rebecca at The Buxton | Brick Lane wine bar & hotel for being such a wonderful host ❤️😘

Now back home, switching gears once again… harvest is just around the corner🍇🍇!

Same family, different color coding.

With the new labels we wanted to make the wines a little more playful, a little clearer, and easier to recognize on the table.

Young wines with energy, texture and drinkability.

This year’s harvest is looking very promising.

Our mornings now start at 6 a.m., lifting wires in the trellised vineyards before the heat arrives. By 9:30 the temperature is already climbing toward 37°C. Afternoons are spend at the beach!

A satisfying job — opening the canopy, portraying these beautiful, healthy grape bunches.
