Local botanicals such as rosemary, lavender and thyme are blended with kaffir lime leaves and lemon verbena amongst many others to create this gin. Sitges was once a quaint fishing port, but today it’s a bustling vibrant mediterranean town full of people from all walks of life. We (Emily and Ed and our three young ones Freyja, Fleur and Felix) were drawn here in 2017, in part, by the beautiful coa
st-line and sandy beaches. Yet it wasn’t until we had settled into our new home that we discovered the nearby Natural Park de Garraf with its stunning landscape, abundant with aromatic wild flowers and herbs. Coming from Britain we happened to have a healthy love of artisanal gins and it didn’t take us long to start wondering how these fragrant local herbs would taste if we were to distil them into a gin. Thus we bought our first little copper pot gin-still and began testing out various combinations, spending many months macerating herbs & distilling dozens of recipes before landing on this original gin for you. We feel it is the perfect mix of both local botanicals and those from further afield and we hope you enjoy drinking it, as much as we enjoy making it!
“It dances today, my heart
Like a peacock it dances, it dances
It sports a mosaic of passions like a peacock’s tail
It soars to the sky with delight, it quests
Oh wildly it dances today, my heart,
Like a peacock it dances”
Ravindranath Tagore
