This is a great trail for hiking or technical Mountain bike trail. I've hiked it in the past and decided to give it a go on my enduro mountain bike "Dangerous Brian", which I'm still testing and tweaking after the initial build. We'd had heavy storms the night before, which didn't help matters. So I started at the end of Mojacar Playa and climbed over the path, that follows the cliff edge to the next beach along, a bit precarious but not particularly difficult (a good warm up), from there I crossed the beach and started the climb to the observatory, a hard steep climb that is moderately rutted in places. I finally reached the Observatory, with spectacular views. Next we take it up a notch with a single trail across the peaks, some very steep, rutted climbs, I have to drag the bike up 2 of them. Eventually I make the dangerous descent down the steep, loose and rutted path (really tough) down into the Rambla, which I follow to the sea, a path which is also very demanding in places. Finally I reach the nudist beach, which I follow, averting my gaze as I go. Easy trail to the old Moorish tower from here and back to Mojacar Playa. All in all a great trail and I shall be doing a YouTube video in the future by bike.
