In the Bosch family we have a long tradition in the production of oranges and mandarins. Back in the 1890 El Salvador Bosch (the great grandfather of the current generation) laid out the first orange plantations to replace the traditional crops of rice, groundnut, maize, that had lost market. They were the first intensive farms of the Ribera del Jucar which is the area par excellence and the cradl

e of the best varieties. El Salvador was followed by his son with the same name and his grandson Vicente Bosch, who has modernized the farms with new systems of cultivation, irrigation and marketing, and is the founder, with other enterprising farmers, of one of the most prestigious cooperatives in the region. To this day we have maintained the traditional production, while introducing new and better varieties and environmental friendly methods of production. We aim to provide the best oranges that can be found in Valencia and therefore in the world, for you to enjoy, just picked from the tree. In our family we are passionate about oranges and we want to transmit this to future generations.

¿Cuáles son los principales beneficios de las naranjas?
Aquí os dejamos unos de los principales beneficios que os proporcionan las naranjas:
1. Aumenta la resistencia contra las infecciones por sus grandes cantidades de vitamina C y flavonoides
2. El sodio, potasio, y magnesio de la naranja previenen calambres y fortalecen los músculos
3. Es un remedio natural para mejorar la memoria por su alto contenido de fósforo
4. La ingesta diaria de naranjas previene el cáncer de estómago
El consumo diario de una naranja puede prevenir algunos tipos de cáncer, según un nuevo estudio australiano. El principal grupo de investigación gubernamental, el Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO, por sus siglas en inglés), descubrió que el consumo de frutas cítricas puede reducir el riesgo de padecer cáncer de boca, laringe y estómago en más de un 50 por ciento.
