ሙዝ ለጤናችን የሚሰጠን አስር (10) ጥቅሞች እንደሚከተለው ቀርበዋል፡፡

1- ለምግብ መንሸራሸር ይጠቅማል
ይህም የሚሆነው ሙዝ በውስጡ የቃጫ ባህሪ(ፋይበርነት) ስላለው ነው፡፡
2- የሀይል ምንጭ ነው
ሙዝ በውስጡ ቫይታሚን፣ሚኒራል እና ካርቦሀይድሬት በመያዙ ሀይል ለማግኘት ይጠቅማል፡፡
3- የጨጓራ ህመምን ያስታግሳል
ጨጓራ ጠንካራ ግድግዳ እንዲኖረው በማገዝ ህመሙን ይቀንሳል፡፡ እንደዚሁም በጨጓራ ውስጥ ያለውን አሲድነት በመቀነስ ህመምን ያስታግሳል፡፡
4- የልብን ጤንነትን ይጠብቃል
ሙዝ በፖታሲየም የበለፀገ ስለሆነ ይህም ለልብ ጤንነት አስፈላጊ ነው፡፡
5- ክብደትን ለመቀነስ ይረዳል
ሙዝ በውስጡ አነስተኛ ቅባት እንደዚሁም ብዙ ቃጫ(ፊይበር) ሰለያዘ ክብደትን ለመቀነስ ይረዳል፡፡
6- አኔሚያን ለማከም ይረዳል
ሙዝ በውስጡ በዛ ያለ የብረት ማእድን ስለያዘ ይህም የቀይ የደም ሴልን ማነስ ይከላከላል፡፡
7- ነብሰጡሮችን ከህመም ይታደጋል
ነብሰጡር ሴቶችን የሚያጠቃ የጠዋት ህመም የሚባለውን ለማከም ይረዳል፡፡
8- የአይንን ጤና ያሻሽላል
ሙዝ ቫይታሚን ኤን ስለያዘ የአይን በሽታን ይከላከላል፡፡
9- በወባ ትንኝ የተነደፈን ይፈውሳል
የወባ ትንኝ የተነደፈበት ቦታ በሙዝ ልጣጭ አሸት አሸት ማድረግ ከህመሙ ይፈውሳል፡፡
10- ድብርትን ይቀንሳል
ሙዝ ሰውነት እንዲፍታታና ዘና እንዲል የሚያስችል ንጥረነገር አለው፡፡
