For S&J 🤍

In 2019 I attended Jasmine Rae Cakes workshop in San Francisco. During the workshop I worked with fondant and rice paper for the very first time! Now seven years later I can easily say that those four days were the starting point for discovering my own voice as a cake artist. Jasmine’s way of teaching is soft yet firm, encouraging and inspiring. I left the workshop with more questions that I had before attending it, but with a strong feeling that I now could figure them out in the best way possible for my business and my art.

Jasmine and Azara K. & Jasmine Rae are offering a 4-session virtual Earthly Textures Workshop starting this Wednesday. So you’ll have an opportunity to learn from her in a very accessible way! It’s an easy recommendation from me — come and learn with us!

”I want the pearls to explode from the waves” was something I wrote down during the consultations. I thought about those pearls for months and came up with a few options I wanted to try out. Ended up going with this. The closer you’d walk to this cake, the more pearls you’d see. I think that was my favorite detail with this cake. 🌊

Congratulations again P&K 🩵

Tuu moikkaamaan mua ja lauantaina 25.4. 15:20-15:55. Tehdään karkkia ja maistamaankin pääsee.🍬

”Makeisia-karkkireseptikirjan tekijät Jinna Lappalainen & Mona Tähtinen valmistavat näytöskeittiössä herkullisia makeisia.

Tervetuloa seuraamaan makeisten valmistamista, saamaan vinkkejä makeisten valmistamiseen kotioloissa sekä lopuksi maistamaan näytöskeittiössä valmistuneita karkkeja.”

Airy & ethereal 🤍

I had the pleasure of cutting this beauty in delicious slices and meeting all the amazing wedding guests while doing it. Being honest I was a bit nervous about this beforehand but it ended up being a very memorable and beautiful experience for me.
