PISTACCHIO PANUOZZO 💚

Not a regular pizza this time…

A panuozzo is a Neapolitan sandwich made from pizza dough. The dough is baked first, then sliced open and filled with your favourite ingredients 😍

This one was loaded with:
💚 Pistachio spread
🌱 Rocket
🥩 Prosciutto Crudo
🧀 Burrata
🥜 Crushed pistachios
🧀 Parmesan shavings
✨ Extra virgin olive oil

I usually only use pistachio spread on dessert pizzas, but WOW… it worked ridiculously well in this combination 🤯

And yes, I know many people will say this should be made with mortadella. But I just prefer prosciutto crudo and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Baked in my Pizza Party Emozione oven at around 400°C with a low flame for about 2,5 minutes 🔥

San Marzano tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, pepperoni, garlic and chili oil 🌶️ Finished with fresh parsley straight after the bake 👌🏼

The first attempt actually got ruined because I accidentally poked a hole in the pizza with my turning peel 💀 That’s always so frustrating but happens to all of us sometimes… and honestly, I know you guys enjoy seeing me fail 😝

Luckily the second bake came out PERFECT 🔥 Beautiful, soft and airy crust and that classic Neapolitan texture thanks to the Pizza Party Emozione oven 😮‍💨 About 70 seconds at close to 500°C 🔥

Not the most traditional Neapolitan pizza this time but it doesn’t always have to be! (…as long as you don’t use pineapple as a topping 😝)

Chili cheese sauce on the base, topped with grilled chicken, Stilton blue cheese and thinly sliced red onion 👌🏼 I liked it!

100% b**a dough, 73% hydration 💧(You can find the dough recipe in my pinned posts)

The smoking hot Pizza Party Ispirazione oven did an amazing job once again 🔥 Cooking time about 65 seconds at 490°C and the Biscotto Saputo stones made sure the bottom was perfectly cooked 👌🏼
