On 1st June 2026, we celebrate 3 years in Pispala. Where Penang flavours bring warmth & belonging. Penang Street Deli, Tampere, was founded in October 2021.

Since opening our doors in 2023, we’ve been sharing the flavours of Penang at Pispalan Valtatie 47 — food that brings comfort, connection, and community. It is a Malaysian street food trailer that sells freshly prepared street food from the Food Capital of Malaysia, Penang. Penang is renowned for its diverse street foods which intermingle with many cultures. The founder of Penang Street Deli, a bo

rn and bred Penangite with a substantial link to the Peranakan*. From her maternal and paternal grandmothers, she learned the ‘Nyonya’ cooking and pickling skills. The uniqueness of Penang Street Deli’s food, especially the savory curries and braised dishes are the Penang Nyonya’s unique flavors. You have to taste it to experience it. Penang Street Deli food trailer has received its certification that qualifies to go into full operation. Currently, the food trailer is opened for business in Pispalan Valtatie 47.
