Holy moly, what an incredible eight years it has been buzzing around Turku. Huge thanks for all the love and messages about our upcoming adventure, it truly means the world to us 🥹🙏🏼💖

Like the rest of the nation, we’ll be kicking back and letting it all sink in over Midsummer. This means that the brewery, KBC Taproom | Restaurant and Sommar bistro & terrace will be closed on Friday and Saturday 19–20.06.

BUT, keeping things fun the way we like it, our Sandwich & Beer Bar will be serving as usual throughout the week. So if you’re in town, you know where to find your cold beers and cheesy bites 🥪🍺

We’ve been keeping a secret and today we can finally share it.

We have been selected to create and operate the café and restaurant at WAM, Turku’s Museum of Contemporary Art.

For us, this is much more than a new project.

WAM is one of the city’s cultural landmarks. A place by the river where architecture, art, people and ideas have met for generations.

Now we get to build its next chapter.

A café. A restaurant. A terrace. A place to spend time before, after and beyond the museum experience.

We couldn’t be more excited.

This week we’ve brought a little taste of Turku to Tivoli Food Festival together with our friends from Restaurant Kaskis and Kakolanruusu.

Come by for a beer, a Perso Soda and a chance to taste the Michelin-starred flavours of Turku in the heart of Copenhagen.

This week you’ll find us at Tivoli Food Festival inside Tivoli Gardens ahead of next Monday’s Michelin Guide Ceremony.

We’re here together with and , serving beers, Perso Soda and festival dishes all week long.

The divine dish by Kaskis featuring dried reindeer heart, smoked pike roe, organic egg foam and pickled vegetables.

Turku’s worst kept secret.

We started around the same time, both making Turku a little more delicious. Since then it’s been late nights, cold beers, endless events and a lot of burgers eaten together.

Our opinion isn’t biased because we’re friends.
The burgers are simply out of this world.

Perfect timing with the weather to open the newest sandwich spot in town at .

We might still be building the bar today but don’t worry, a swanky new counter will be waiting for you tomorrow.

We’re here all summer, serving grilled cheese, beers and good times in the park 🌻

Opening tomorrow: KBC Sandwich & Beer Bar 🥪🧀🍺🌸🌳

That’s right, we’ll be serving lush grilled cheese sandwiches all summer long at our spot, alongside a good selection of colourful wines, fresh beers and tasty snacks to carry you through those humid summer nights.

The sandwiches are all about big, cheesy flavours, made on what might just be the tastiest toast in town by 💖
