Jonathan is an Argentine chef who lives in France. He currently runs three restaurants in Paris, where French and Italian cuisine come together in a simple, everyday way. Jonathan’s journey began in Argentina and continued in the Basque Country—places that taught him to respect ingredients and to cook with patience and deliberation. Today, his cooking is rooted in the bistro style: honest food, seasonal ingredients, and dishes that people want to come back for. It’s about balance, generosity, and creating something that feels both familiar and refined.

FRIÐGEIR I. EIRÍKSSON
Visiting at

Friðgeir is the owner and head chef of Eiriksson Brasserie, widely recognized for his contributions to Icelandic gastronomy. Friðgeir’s father had a long career as a chef in Iceland, and one could say that Friðgeir was practically born in the kitchen. He served as head chef at the Michelin-starred Domaine de Clairefontaine in Lyon, France. In 2007, Friðgeir represented Iceland in the Bocuse d’Or competition and has since been an active force in the development of Iceland’s culinary scene, including as head chef at Hótel Holt in Reykjavík.

AXEL THORSTEINSSON
Visiting at

Axel is a baker, pastry chef, and entrepreneur based in Reykjavík with over two decades of international experience. He has managed operations for brand-name bakeries in the Middle East, including Bouchon Bakery, Prince, and Dean & DeLuca, while simultaneously shaping Iceland’s culinary scene. His work has been recognized with national and international awards, reflecting both his technical expertise and his passion for innovation.

DANIELE COCCIA
Visiting at

Daniele was born in Tropea, Italy, in 1990. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for Japanese food culture and cuisine, which led him to move to Japan to study traditional Japanese cooking techniques and seafood preparation. While in Japan, he also worked and studied at Tokyo’s historic Tsukiji Fish Market.

FFF’s is right now in Sardinia competing in the international competition! ☀️

In the competition, award-winning chefs from around the world compete to create innovative bluefin tuna dishes, judged by both technical experts as well as the audience 🎣

As a little twist, Jouni brought a piece of Finland with him: edible flowers from 🌸

Thanks to Kotipellon puutarha’s Mimis-flowers and good luck in the competition, Jouni! 🥇

Ravintolatapahtuma Food & Fun saa jatkoa Turussa. Syksyllä järjestettävän festivaaliviikon konseptia muutetaan joustavammaksi ja tapahtuman olemusta viedään ympärivuotisempaan suuntaan.
